Source: Kings Rule Fox Out Vs Bucks; Hield Done for Rest of Summer League

The Sacramento Kings look to pick up their first win of Las Vegas Summer League Wednesday night, but they'll have to do it without one of their young stars. Rookie De'Aaron Fox will miss the game with a stiff ankle, NBC Sports California has confirmed.

Fox sat in the fourth quarter of the Kings' loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night. The injury is not considered serious.

The 19-year-old out of the University of Kentucky is averaging 15.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.7 steals while shooting 47.1 percent from the field for Sacramento.

Buddy Hield will sit as well. The second-year guard is officially done for the Summer League session. Hield has struggled from the field during Sacramento's three losses, but he finishes with 16.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 26 minutes a night.

The Kings plan coming into the tournament was to play Hield the first three games and then turn to other players to finish the week. veteran Luis Montero started in his place against the Bucks.

As the Kings were without Fox, another rookie point guard went down. Frank Mason III only lasted four minutes before spraining his left ankle. He will not return to the game, NBC Sports California has learned.

Bogdan Bogdanovic sighting

Rookie Bogdan Bogdanovic is in Las Vegas supporting his soon-to-be teammates on Wednesday night. The Serbian-born sharpshooter is in line for a three-year, $27 million contract with the Kings which should be announced soon.

Bogdanovic has been playing on tournaments overseas all summer and will not play for the Kings in Las Vegas.
