Crabtree: ‘I Don't Have Anything to Do With' Kaepernick

During the national anthem on Sunday, Malcolm Smith and Bruce Irvin joined the growing movement by putting up their fists.

"I just play football," he told the San Francisco Chronicle. "I ain't no Martin Luther King."

Colin Kaepernick, whose protest started the national conversation, and Crabtree were teammates with the 49ers from 2011 to 2014.

The duo shared some success, but their relationship became rocky during Jim Harbaugh's tumultuous last season.

And on Sunday, Crabtree didn't exactly hold back his thoughts.

"I've let it be known I don't have anything to do with him," Crabtree said of Kaepernick "I'm a Raider."
