NFL Roster Cuts 2019: 49ers Own No. 2 Slot for Waivers, Raiders No. 4

It's officially waiver season in the NFL.

All 32 NFL teams cut their rosters down to 53 players on Sunday, leaving hundreds of players without a job. That's where waivers come into play.

And the 49ers and Raiders could be in luck if there's a player they have their eyes on. The 49ers have the No. 2 waiver slot this year while the Raiders own the No. 4 slot.

The order for waiver slots is the same as the 2019 NFL Draft.

Will 49ers general manager John Lynch find a hidden gem on the open market? What about Mike Mayock in his first year as Raiders GM?

While the 49ers and Raiders trimmed their roster to 53 players, there are still plenty of moves that can happen before Week 1 of the regular season.
