Source: Raiders Agree to Three-year Deal With TE Derek Carrier

Derek Carrier is coming back to the Raiders.

Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Raiders in 2012, the tight end has agreed to a three-year deal with the Raiders, a source confirmed to NBCSportsBayArea.com's Scott Bair.

This isn't the first Gruden that Carrier will play for as he played for Jay Gruden in Washington from 2015 to 2016. Just prior to the start of the 2017 season, Washington traded Carrier to the Los Angeles Rams for a 2018 seventh-round draft pick.

In his one season with the Rams, Carrier played in 14 games and caught eight passes for 71 yards.

Prior to his time with Washington and the Rams, Carrier spent two seasons with the 49ers.

News of the agreement was first reported by the NFL Network.
