The 2019 NBA Draft finally is here! While many other NBA teams tanked their way to top draft selections, the Warriors and Kings will have to wait a while before they're on the clock.
The Warriors own the No. 28 and No. 58 overall picks, where they hope to find a player or two who can help fill out their injury-ravaged rotation. NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole outlined 10 players the Warriors should target at No. 28, including Stanford forward KZ Okpala and Belmont sharpshooter Dylan Windler.
Meanwhile, the Kings, despite missing the playoffs for the 13th consecutive season, do not have a first-round pick. Their selection, which would have been No. 14 overall, is owned by the Boston Celtics because of the 2015 Nik Stauskas trade.
However, the Kings do have three second-round picks: Nos. 40, 47 and 60. NBC Sports California's James Ham described eight ways for how the Kings should use their flurry of second-rounders, such as trading a pick or two or "drafting and stashing."
