Warriors Eliminated in First Round of Playoffs in 2018 Simulation

Basketball video game NBA 2k18 has simulated the upcoming season and come up with some interesting results. 

The Warriors will fail to defend their title this season, according to CBS Sports, falling to the Timberwolves in seven games in the first round of the playoffs. 

In a surprise Final matchup, the Thunder are scriptd to top the Wizards in five games. 

The Cavaliers, in the simulation, enter the postseason as the No. 1 seed in the East but fall to the Wizards in five games in the Eastern Conference Finals.

According to the simulation, Stephen Curry will be your MVP and Steve Kerr will be Coach of the Year. 

The video game estimates just two Warriors on the All-Star team -- Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. And it estimates both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will return for the 3-point contest.

Also noteworthy, four head coaches were fired over the course of the simulated season including Luke Walton by the Lakers and Dave Joerger by the Kings.
