According to the oddsmakers, the Warriors are the heavy favorites to win the 2017 title.
And Golden State television analyst Jim Barnett believes Warriors fans should prepare for several more Larry O'Brien trophies to reside in the Bay Area.
"I will go out on the limb -- there is no reason why this team should not win multiple championships," Barnett said on the "Warriors Huddle Podcast." "There's no question about it."

Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are both 26, and are under contract for three and four more years respectively.
Kevin Durant, who will turn 28 on Sept. 29, is expected to opt out next summer because of a rising salary cap, and could theoretically leave in free agency.
Steph Curry, who doesn't turn 29 until March 14, is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

So there still is work to be done to keep these four players together beyond next season.
"You're always concerned when you're dealing with human beings," Barnett explained. "But, I also have to evaluate each of those human beings, and you got an incredible individual in each of them ... I don't think these guys have huge egos when they're playing with people of their own caliber. I don't think they're gonna be worried about their scoring average, I don't think they're gonna worry about how many shots they got...

"They want to win, and that's why Kevin Durant is here ... the system is going to control a lot of that; the system by Steve Kerr. Not necessarily on the dot, 'We gotta have five passes before we take a shot,' but the way the offense is structured, that has to go that way...
"Everybody is going to get their shots, but when it does bog down and you gotta play a little more half court, and you're relegated to playing half court, I believe the system will bail them out with that."
Warriors players and coaches alike have discussed the learning curve that comes with adding a player of Durant's stature.
They understand there could be some growing pains in the process, and sacrificing is part of it. Barnett gets that as well.
"That doesn't mean there won't be some problems along the way," he said. "You are human and once in a while tempers will flare; frustration. But these guys have class. These are winners ... they are the cream of the crop of the NBA."
