Bell Leaves Game Vs Nets With Ankle Sprain

OAKLAND -- Rookie forward Jordan Bell left the game late in the third quarter of Golden State's 114-110 win over the Brooklyn Nets Tuesday night and did not return after spraining his right ankle.

Bell will undergo X-rays later Tuesday night, with the results pending.

The injury occurred when Bell, attempting to block a shot, came down and made contact with teammate Draymond Green. Bell immediately went down, pounding the floor with his fist.

The Warriors called timeout with 8.4 seconds left in the quarter, with Bell rising to his feet, limping off the court with some assistance and heading immediately into the locker room.

Bell, who returned last week after missing 14 games with a severe sprain of his left ankle, that injury occurring on Jan. 17 in Chicago. He was making his fourth appearance since his return.
