Curry on Bounce Back Performance in Game 3: ‘This Is What I Expected to Do'

Heading into Game 3, all the pundits and analysts were worried about Steph Curry and his missing jump shot.

But the two-time MVP wasn't concerned.

After scoring 35 points and leading the Warriors to a 41-point destruction of the Rockets, the first question posed to Curry was about his amusement from all the people analyzing his struggles.

"This is what I expected to do. Just like my approach to every game, don't get too high on the highs and don't get too low on the lows, you appreciate every opportunity to play the game and obviously thankful to hit some shots tonight, eventually. But we got a long way to go. So just got to stay focused, keep doing what I'm doing. And as a team, we played a lot better defense today, which got everybody more involved," Curry told TNT's David Aldridge moments after the Warriors beat the Rockets 126-85 on Sunday night.

Curry's 35 points in Game 3 were more than he had combined in the first two games of the series (34). He made 5 of 12 3-pointers Sunday after making one in each of the games in Houston.
