Curry Takes Small Step in Recovery

OAKLAND -- Stephen Curry stepped onto the Warriors practice floor Sunday with only his attire and a slight limp giving away his injury status.

Though the Warriors are not yet able to deliver a timeline for his return, Curry will miss at least another 12 days and, realistically, probably closer to four weeks.

The good news for the Warriors is that Curry's sprained right ankle was not in the walking boot he had worn since sustaining the injury Monday in New Orleans. He was wearing gray sweats over a black pair of his signature shoes.

"He's doing fine," coach Steve Kerr said. "No work on the court or anything. Just getting treatment. He seems to be doing well."

Kerr also provided updates on the other injured players, center Zaza Pachulia and guard Pat McCaw. Pachulia has missed two of the past three games with left shoulder soreness and McCaw has missed the last two games after sustaining a concussion last Monday.

Both, however participated in light, non-contact drills on Sunday.

"We'll see tomorrow how everybody is (Monday)," Kerr said.

McCaw is listed as questionable and Pachulia as doubtful. Draymond Green, who played 38 minutes on Friday, is listed as probable with the soreness that his nagged his right shoulder over at least the past week.
