DeMarcus Cousins Billboard Wearing Spurs Jersey Seen Near San Antonio

DeMarcus Cousins is playing the waiting game right now. That's certainly not by choice, though.

The four-time All-Star expected to enjoy a big payday this summer when he signed the mid-level exception with the Warriors last offseason. That doesn't appear to be the case.

However, one fanbase of a Western Conference team is showing plenty of love to Boogie. A billboard of Cousins in a Spurs jersey was spotted Thursday in Texas.

This isn't the first time the former Warriors center has been connected to San Antonio. The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Tuesday that Cousins had been in contact with Spurs star DeMar DeRozan this summer, too.

Cousins and DeRozan won gold as teammates on Team USA in the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2014 FIBA World Cup. Could they be teamming up again?

Cousins reportedly spoke with a Wizards executive recently in Las Vegas. But like everyone else, Boogie reportedly is waiting on Kawhi Leonard's free-agency decision

If the former Kings and Warriors center does sign with San Antonio, fans of both teams would be able to see plenty more Boogie Ball in the future.
