Draymond Green Gets Fourth Technical of Playoffs in Game 2 Vs. Rockets

Draymond didn't say anything and yet he still picked up a technical foul.

Late in the third quarter of Game 2 of the NBA playoff series against the Rockets, the Warriors forward got tangled up with Nene after a James Harden free throw.

The refs intervened before anything bad could happen, but the referee Ed Malloy issued technicals to each player.

All Green could do was walk away and smile.

It's Green fourth of the postseason. A player's seventh is an automatic one-game suspension.

"I don't really get off on techs anymore," Green told reporters in Oakland after the game. "It is what it is. We'll see what happens. I think tonight was a great officiated game. They let us be physical, both teams, and they made the calls they needed to make. It was kind of disheartening for the game that I love to see the talk over the last two days was nothing about basketball and everything about foul calls. Like, is that what this game is coming to? That the talk is going to be about foul calls? I love the game of basketball, so it was fun out there tonight. They let us be physical, they let us play the game of basketball, which I enjoy and I ain't really worried about a technical foul. It is what it is."

The NBA will likely review the technicals. Bay Area News Group's Mark Medina reports the Warriors will ask the league to rescind Green's.
