Draymond Starting, Clark Available for Warriors Vs Hawks

OAKLAND – Forward Draymond Green, listed as questionable on the injury report Monday morning, is starting Monday night when the Warriors face the Atlanta Hawks at Oracle Arena.

“I’m planning on him playing,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said.

Reserve guard Ian Clark also is available to play, according to Kerr, who made the announcements during his pregame news conference two hours before the 7:40 p.m. tipoff.

Neither player was available Saturday, when the Warriors defeated the Timberwolves at Oracle. Both were hurt on the same play last Friday against the Lakers, as Green rolled his left ankle when his foot landed on a Clark’s neck while he was supine.

Kerr conceded that he would proceed with caution if Green didn’t feel as good during pregame warmups as he did during the morning shootaround.

“We’ll make it official once they come in and say they’re good to go,” Kerr said.

“I think everything is going to be based on how I feel in pregame,” Green said after shootaround, “but I’m pretty confident I’m going to play.”
