OAKLAND -- Kevin Durant is expected to back in the lineup Wednesday night, when the Warriors face the Los Angeles Clippers at Oracle Arena.

Coverage on NBC Sports Bay Area begins at 6:30, with tipoff scheduled for 7:35.

Though Durant -- who needs 25 points to reach 20,000 for his career -- has missed the last three games, the Warriors (33-8) have won five in a row, by an average of 10.4 points. One of those wins was over the Clippers last Saturday in Los Angeles.

MATCHUP TO WATCH

Klay Thompson & Co. vs. Lou Williams: Thompson has been the rock of the Warriors lineup, having his finest season and playing in all 41 games. Signed to be LA's sixth man, Williams has been so much more, leading all bench scorers, at 21.8 points per game. He has been pressed into the starting lineup due to injuries. He's averaged 28.6 points per game over the last 10 games, 31.2 over the last five. With Griffin out, Williams has the greenest possible light to fire away.

SERIES HISTORY

The Warriors won the first two of four meetings this season, 141-113 on Oct. 30 in LA and 121-105 on Jan. 6 in LA. The Warriors have won 12 in a row, the fourth-longest NBA win streak against a specific opponent. The Warriors have 21 of the last 23 in Oakland and 20 of the last 25 overall.

THREE THINGS TO WATCH

KD 20K: Kevin Durant is 25 points away from becoming the 44th player in league history to score 20,000. At 29 years old, he would become the second-youngest player to reach that mark, behind only LeBron James. Only four players have reached 20,000 points before turning 30: Wilt Chamberlain, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and James.

THE 120 CLUB: The Warriors averaged 127.0 points over their last five games, topping the 120 mark in all five. The Warriors are 19-1 when scoring at least 120. The last Warriors teams to score at least 120 points over six games was the 1988-89 team featuring Hall of Famers Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond.

FOCUS, FOCUS: The Warriors have shown a tendency to play down to lesser opponents. With the Clippers missing four starters -- all except center DeAndre Jordan -- they don't appear to pose much of a threat. Will the Warriors bring the appropriate intensity required to bury the wounded Clippers?
