Harrison Barnes Plans to Watch ‘zero' Warriors Basketball This Year

In case you haven't heard, Harrison Barnes is now a member of the Dallas Mavericks.

How much Warriors basketball is he planning on watching this season?

"Zero," he told reporters at media day on Monday.

Barnes spent his first four seasons in Golden State after the Warriors selected him with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2012 draft.

His time in the Bay Area came to a close when Kevin Durant announced he would sign with the Warriors.

Barnes wound up signing a 4-year, $94.4 million deal with the Mavericks.

Barnes' new head coach, Rick Carlisle, discussed the increased expectations for the 24-year old forward.

"I talked to him this summer a lot about that. Bottom line is that it's a challenge that he's got to love to take on. The important thing is that an elevation in responsibility comes at the right rate."

The Warriors host the Mavs on Nov. 9 and Dec. 30, and play in Dallas on March 21.
