If Warriors win title, Livingston 'definitely wouldn't go' to White House

Programming note: Warriors-Grizzlies coverage starts today at 4pm with Warriors Pregame Live on CSN Bay Area, and streaming live right here.

When Barack Obama was the President of the United States, the Warriors visited the White House in February 2016.

If the Warriors win the NBA championship in June, they would be in line to visit the White House again.

You can add Shaun Livingston to the list of people who will pass on that opportunity.

"I really feel that my views would keep me from going and visiting," Livingston said on 95.7 The Game on Friday. "Just with everything that's going on right now, I just don't agree with a lot of stuff that's happening.

    "I definitely wouldn't go."

Golden State head coach Steve Kerr has been a staunch critic of Donald Trump.

According to Livingston, Kerr's opinion on the matter would have a significant impact on Warriors players.

"At the end of the day, it would be his decision and I think we would talk about it as a team -- as we usually do -- we would come together and it would be a panel of us and we would really sit down and talk about it," Livingston explained. "Everybody would give their own opinion and have their own side, and I think he would leave that up to each individual."
