Kevin Durant Vs. Chris Broussard Beef Continues, as Reporter Goes on Defensive

The Kevin Durant-Chris Broussard bout has reached Round 3.

Broussard went on FS1's Undisputed on Thursday morning to continue his feud with the Warriors' star forward, who said the previous day that the reporter didn't have his phone number.

"He [Durant] has every right to get on social media and clap back," Broussard said. "Now, what he doesn't have a right to do is lie."

After Broussard, a reporter for FOX Sports, said Wednesday that he and Durant have texted for hours before, KD responded with his phone number claim. Perhaps he took Broussard too literal.

About 10 hours later, Broussard expanded on his side of the story from the front seat of his car. He said some of the conversations with Durant "lasted more than five hours."

"He slid into my DMs," Broussard said Thursday. "He's hit me on Instagram direct message, Twitter direct message, and that's how we've communicated. I do have a cell number for him that he gave me years ago, that I'm sure is old now. But I have 60-plus direct messages from him in the past year or so.

"If anybody can prove that I was lying yesterday, then fire me."

The argument stems from Broussard saying Monday that Durant's "worst nightmare" is happening as the Warriors swept the Trail Blazers while he rehabs a strained right calf.
