The NBA's two-time reigning MVP Stephen Curry is often seen playing golf with President Barack Obama.
But the last two times they've played, the Warriors point guard has come up on the losing end of their matches.
So how can Curry take President Obama off his game? Step up his trash talking game, according to First Lady Michelle Obama.
Curry and Michelle appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday and engaged in the following back-and-forth after the host asked who was the better golfer between the MVP and the President:
Ellen DeGeneres: So who's a better golfer?
Golden State Warriors
Michelle Obama: Stephen.
Stephen Curry: I'm a better golfer, but obviously, in golf you play with a handicap, so everything is fair. The last two times I've played, I've lost to him.
ED: What's your handicap and what's his?
SC: I'm a two. I was told not to disclose that information on our President's handicap.
MO: I don't know what it is.
SC: It's top secret. I'm acting like secret service. It's top secret.
ED: But two, that's amazing.
SC: Didn't have my A-game when I played him both times, so I really wanted it.
MO: He's a trash talker, right?
SC: He is, but you know how during his speeches he has that very slow cadence that kind of draws you in? He brings that same kind of vibe to his trash talk. So I'll hit a shot out of bounds and he'll just look...'Yeah...that's not a good shot...I'm going to need you to do better next time.' So it kind of gets under your skin, like 'I know, I hit it out of bounds.'
MO: You should trash talk back.
ED: Give him some things to say.
MO: Talk about his ears. Here's one: As you're putting, you want to say 'The shadow from your ears is really messing up my putt.' Try that one.
SC (Pointing to head): That's going up here.
ED: That is low.
MO: That's what trash talking is. That's the 'trash' part of the talking.
SC: He has like 50 Secret Service out there, so if I trash talk, he just gives them the look and I'm outta there.
So if Curry goes missing after his next round of golf with the President, it's safe to assume he talked trash about the ears.
