NBA Rumors: DeMarcus Cousins Changes Agents in Middle of Free Agency

DeMarcus Cousins is going in a different direction.

The former Warriors big man is changing agents in the middle of free agency, Marc Stein of The New York Times reported Wednesday morning.

Cousins clearly is frustrated with the fact that he hasn't signed a new contract yet.

As ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said on Tuesday morning:

"His market has been really thin. His hope had been that teams who had significant salary cap space -- who missed out on their No. 1 priority, their No. 2 priority -- might turn to him even on a one-year deal.

"And he'd be able to get a $12 [million], $15 [million] $18 [million], $20 million annual deal. That money simply isn't out there for Boogie Cousins. And certainly it looks like he'll be back on a one-year deal somewhere and probably even below the mid-level exception."

The Warriors reportedly agreed to terms with former Kings center Willie Cauley-Stein on Tuesday, making it even more unlikely for Boogie to return to the Dubs.
