NBA Rumors: Former Cal Great Theo Robertson Joins Warriors' Coaching Staff

The Warriors' coaching staff reportedly is getting a new face.

After losing assistant coach Willie Green to the Phoenix, the Warriors reportedly are hiring Theo Robertson to fill Green's player development role, The Athletic's Anthony Slater reported Tuesday.

Robertson played at Cal from 2005-06 to 2009-2010. He previously worked as a video intern (2014-15) and video coordinator/player development personnel (2015-16) for the Warriors. Robertson also was an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2016-17 season.

He rejoined Cal as an assistant coach in 2017.
