Poked in the Eye, Draymond Forced to Exit Warriors, Lakers Game

OAKLAND – Warriors forward Draymond Green left the Warriors-Lakers game Wednesday night after being poked in the left eye by Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr.

Going in for a layup with 1:40 left in the third quarter, Green was whacked by Nance and slumped to the floor, remaining down for about a minute.

The Warriors called a timeout, during which Green walked over to the bench. He came back to shoot two free throws, making one, but left the game nine seconds later.

Accompanied by head trainer Drew Yoder, Green immediately headed into the locker room for further evaluation.
