Report: Curry Aiming to Return to Lineup on Friday

After playing without any of their All-Stars during much of Monday night's loss to the San Antonio Spurs, Stephen Curry is reportedly aiming to return to the Warriors' lineup on Friday against the Atlanta Hawks.

Curry will try to play on Friday, barring any setbacks when his right ankle is reevaluated on Tuesday, ESPN reported late Monday evening, citing league sources. The two-time MVP has not played since spraining that ankle on Mar. 9 against the Spurs.

In six games without Curry, the Warriors are just 2-4. Fellow All-Stars Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson have missed three and four of those games, respectively, while Draymond Green left Monday night's loss with a pelvic contusion and did not return.

This season, Curry is averaging 26.3 points, 6.2 assists, and 5.1 rebounds per game.
