Report: Former Warriors First Rounder Joining Lakers Scouting Staff

A former Warriors forward has found a home in Los Angeles as part of the Los Angeles Lakers staff. 

Antawn Jamison, who was a part of one of the Warriors' most infamous draft day trades, will join the Lakers in a scouting role, this according to a report in The Vertical. 

Back in 1998, Jamison's rights were traded by the Toronto Raptors over to Golden State in exchange for Vince Carter. 

In 1998, the Golden State Warriors traded the draft rights of Vince Carter to the Toronto Raptors. 

In five seasons with the Warriors, Jamison averaged 20.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. 

Jamison was an All-Star in 2005 and 2008 and the Sixth Man of the Year in 2004 -- as a member of the Washington Wizards. He finished his career with averages of 18.5/7.5/1.6. 

Jamison played for the Lakers in the 2012-13 season. He has served as a TV analyst for the Lakers since 2014.
