The Warriors' roster reconstruction appears to be continuing Tuesday, with an athletic center moving from Sacramento to San Francisco.
A source confirmed to NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole that former Kings center Willie Cauley-Stein and the Warriors have a contract agreement in place.
The Athletic's Marcus Thompson first reported the big man is "coming to the Warriors."
I'm told Willie Cauley-Stein coming to the Warriors. Was Damian Jones that bad in the Summer League debut? Does that mean no DeMarcus Cousins?— Marcus Thompson (@ThompsonScribe) July 2, 2019
Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes confirmed the agreement. ESPN's Zach Lowe reports that the contract is worth something "slightly above the minimum."

Can confirm. Cauley-Stein will sign for something slightly above the minimum salary, a source says. https://t.co/acJryQ5lik— Zach Lowe (@ZachLowe_NBA) July 2, 2019
Cauley-Stein, 25, averaged 11.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in his fourth year as a pro last season. The Kings selected him with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
Less than two weeks ago, Cauley-Stein's agent Roger Montgomery told The Sacramento Bee that his client "needs a fresh start." A small one-year deal certainly is not the contract Cauley-Stein hoped for, but the former Kentucky star will get a fresh start in a brand new arena.
Cauley-Stein joins Kevon Looney and Damian Jones in the Warriors' center rotation. Jordan Bell reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with Minnesota on Monday. This agreement puts even more pressure on Jones, who was the Warriors' presumptive starting center but has yet to prove himself in the NBA.

While Cauley-Stein hasn't lived up to expectations as a former top pick, he could be a nice fit for the Warriors on both ends of the floor as a rim-running 7-footer.
