Suns SG Booker: Warriors Not Toughest Matchup in NBA

As Suns shooting guard Devin Booker establishes himself as one of the bright young players in the NBA, he's gone up against some tough opposition.

In 90 career games, there's no team he's faced more than the Warriors (six).

So one might imagine that the backcourt matchup of two-time MVP Steph Curry and two-time All-Star Klay Thompson might offer the stiffest challenge.

Not so, according to Booker.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Booker was asked to name the toughest matchup he's faced in the NBA so far.

"Sheesh. There's a lot. I'll say... Dame and CJ. Both of them. Constant motion, they're always looking to score. And they have great role players around them who understand that they're the dominant scorer, so they'll set really good screens for them, and they get a lot of good looks," Booker said.

In those six games against the Warriors, Booker is averaging 10.8 points and 4.7 assists. In four career games against the Portland Trail Blazers, the second-year guard is averaging 11.5 points and 0.8 assists.
