US Women Blow Past Spain, Move to 2-0 at Rio Olympics

BOX SCORE

The United States women improve to 2-0 at the Rio Olympics with a 103-63 win over Spain on Monday.

For the fourth Olympics running, Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird led the way for the Stars and Stripes to extend the U.S. Olympic win streak to 43. Taurasi had a U.S.-high 13 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.

Spain played the United States tough, but the U.S. depth was too much for the Spaniards to overcome. All but one of the Americans scored with five players notching double digits.
