Warriors Vs. Rockets Watch Guide: Lineups, Injuries, Player Usage

Coming off their second and most impressive win this season, the Warriors open a three-game road trip against the team they love to demoralize.

Remember the Houston Rockets?

The Rockets (4-3) certainly remember the Warriors (2-5), and they'll be out for revenge when they meet Wednesday at Toyota Center. Pregame coverage on NBC Sports Bay Area begins at 3:30, with tipoff scheduled for 4:40.

Though the Warriors have had their troubles with Houston in the regular season, losing five of the last seven meetings, they've dominated in the postseason, kicking them into summer in four of the past five years.

The Warriors will get their first look at Houston's latest roster redesign, as 34-year-old Chris Paul was swapped for 30-year-old Russell Westbrook.

ROTATION OUTLOOK

Warriors: For the third consecutive game, the Warriors will dress only nine players . . . Russell's absence for the third consecutive game means Bowman won't have a backup at PG. As was the case Monday, the playmaking load will be shared among Damion Lee, Poole and Robinson. Ball movement did not suffer against Portland, as the Warriors totaled 28 assists, with eight different players credited with at least two . . . Paschall is playing fabulously, so word is getting around the league. With opponents intensifying their scouting evaluation, it'll be interesting to see how he responds to increased attention . . . The three big men (Marquese Chriss, Omari Spellman, Cauley-Stein) combined for 22 points (9-of-12 FG), 10 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks against Portland.

Rockets: With Gordon's absence forcing House, usually the Sixth Man, into the starting lineup, expect more minutes out of G Austin Rivers, G Ben McLemore and G/F Thabo Sefolosha. Rivers and McLemore specialize in offense, while Sefolosha bring a more defensive approach . . . Minutes at PG was shared exclusively by Harden and Westbrook, with third-stringer Chris Clemons finding minutes in blowout wins and losses . . . Veteran C Tyson Chandler plays limited minutes each game, while veteran F Ryan Anderson has played in only two of the team's seven games.

Officials: Marc Davis (crew chief), Karl Lane, Eric Dalen.
