Draymond Green is not going to start in the NBA All-Star Game.
He would be a starter if the criteria was strictly based on the fan vote, as Draymond finished with the second most fan votes among Western Conference frontcourt players.
But the reigning Defensive Player of the Year finished seventh in the media voting and seventh in the NBA player voting.
"If you look over the player voting, I don't think it's really taken that serious," Draymond told reporters on Friday. "I think some people do make it a joke. But it's all right. No big deal.
"It's not that big of a deal."

Is Draymond confident that he will make the team as a reserve?
"I don't know. We'll see."
Is not being a starter going to provide him some motivation?
"No," Draymond answered emphatically. "I don't care what another player think about me. If they don't play on my team, that don't matter...
"I never thought I'd be in a position to be ranked that high from the fans. I definitely thank them for the support."
