Less than a week after the start of free agency, the Warriors are down to one available roster spot.
Moreover, they stand to enter the 2017-18 season with the same starting five that only 25 days ago carried them to an NBA championship.
Veteran big man Zaza Pachulia, who had expressed a desire to return to the Warriors, agreed Friday to another one-year contract, this one worth $3.48 million, to once again be the team's starting center.
News of the agreement was tweeted out by Priority Sports Agency, which represents Pachulia.
The deal, first reported by USA Today, represents a 20 percent increase over the contract Pachulia signed upon joining the team last July 12 -- and is the most the Warriors could have offered the Republic of Georgia native.
Pachulia, 33, started 70 games last season, averaging 6.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He averaged 18.1 minutes per game.

The Warriors have filled 14 of their 15 roster spots. There remains a chance JaVale McGee will fill the remaining vacancy, assuming he is willing to accept a veteran's minimum salary for a second consecutive season.
