Stephen Curry will be among the 90-plus celebrities converging on South Lake Tahoe this weekend for the 28th annual American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course.
Curry will be making his fifth appearance at the tournament. He has 20-1 odds, according to the Harrah's and Harveys Race & Sports Book. His father, Dell, who beat Curry last year by one stroke, has 30-1 odds.
Meanwhile, back-to-back champion Mark Mulder, former A's starting pitcher, is chasing a three-peat.
Curry's best finish was in 2013 when he led the tournament with seven holes remaining before finishing fourth. He's looking to avenge last year's one-point loss to his father.
Other noteworthy celebrities include actor and musical artist Justin Timberlake, NFL Hall of Famers Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Marcus Allen and Tim Brown, Charles Barkley, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Pavelski and Sebastian Janikowski.
