What does Damian Lillard think about the Twitter interaction between Kevin Durant and CJ McCollum?
Glad you asked.
"I saw that he went on CJ's podcast and they went back and forth. It sounded like they were joking, so I didn't think much of it," Lillard told Marc Spears of The Undefeated. "But when I saw that they went on Twitter, I was like, ‘All right, they have each other's phone number. It doesn't have to go on Twitter. Call each other, man, and get it off y'all chest.'
"It ain't got to be on Twitter, because everyone is going to make a big thing about it and try to pit them against each other. People love drama. It doesn't have to be all that."

Yes, people do love drama (and content during a boring news cycle).
Durant cleared the air after Team USA practice in Las Vegas on Thursday.

KD pressed further on the McCollum stuff: "This is not East coast, West coast beef. Bro, CJ...I will go have some wine with him in New York when he get back from China and take a picture if you all don't believe me."— Anthony Slater (@anthonyVslater) July 26, 2018
On the podcast, McCollum said that he and Durant will be doing another episode -- which will include McCollum's usual co-host Jordan Schultz and Durant's manager Rich Kleiman.
Speaking of those guys...
I spoke w/Kevin Durant's best friend/manager Rich Kleiman about the "beef" between my @PullUpPod co-host @CJMcCollum and @KDTrey5. @RichKleiman says "of course there is no real issue, not even a little bit. KD and CJ are friends."— Jordan Schultz (@Schultz_Report) July 26, 2018
Hopefully that podcast is being recorded this very second...
