Daryl Morey ‘really Curious' to See the Warriors With DeMarcus Cousins: ‘Gonna Be Interesting'

If you are alive and love basketball, you have an opinion about DeMarcus Cousins signing with the Warriors.

On Wednesday morning, Rockets GM Daryl Morey shared his thoughts:

"I was really curious. Bob (Myers) is really good at his job. He likes to take smart gambles like I do, so I understood the move," Morey said on The Dan Patrick Show. "But it's gonna be interesting. Coach Kerr is one of the best, too. It's a little scary. They'll probably figure out how to make it work, but it's a little bit hard on paper to figure out how to make it work.

"But we do that well and so do they. They're gonna be a tough out again, obviously. They're arguably the best team in NBA history. They're on their path to maybe be able to make that argument."

It is fair to assume there will be some bumps along the way when it comes to assimilating Cousins.

If everybody is healthy and available, who closes games? If Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green are automatically on the floor during crunch time, that means either Andre Iguodala or Cousins will close the game on the bench.

It will be a balancing act for Kerr and the coaching staff...

The Warriors host the Rockets on Jan. 3 and Feb. 23 and play in Houston on Nov. 15 and March 13.
