How much do we love digging up old tweets? We love it so much, don't we?
For example, we learned the Giants' newly acquired outfielder turned out to be a huge Taylor Swift fan. But more recently, an old Dez Bryant tweet highlighted Kings guard Buddy Hield:
@buddyhield legacy is about to start now...kings got a monster— Dez Bryant (@DezBryant) February 21, 2017
Before you rush into our comments about how this was an old tweet, we're well aware -- I even made sure to mention it a few times in this blog. But let us live a little, will ya?
Hield responded to the tweet saying he had respect for the three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver.
Since Bryant pushed "tweet" to send this out, Hield has improved in every major category. He was averaging 20.4 points per game this season entering Wednesday's play.

Naturally, I had to ask Bryant if he still felt that way:
You asked that question like he hasn't been balling.. my feeling are the same https://t.co/UQFR5UiDRK— Dez Bryant (@DezBryant) December 27, 2018
For the record, I'm aware of how Hield is playing. And I truly know "he's been balling."
I believe it's safe to say Kings fans, and Hield's teammates, are more than happy with the results from the 25-year-old.
Respect, indeed.
