Dodgers Ace Clayton Kershaw Dealing With Arm Injury Early in Spring Training

The start to spring training in Arizona has mainly consisted of rain and grey skies. For the Dodgers, it's been even worse than the weather.

Clayton Kershaw is shutting it down after not feeling right in his latest live bullpen session on Monday. There is currently no timetable for when the Dodgers ace will continue throwing.

Regarding the extent of the injury, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts called Kershaw not throwing more of a "re-set" than anything else on Friday.

The good news for the Dodgers is Kershaw's injury isn't related to his back. He was sidelined for the third time last season due to back issue. The left-hander also dealt with biceps tendinitis as well.

Kershaw missed multiple starts in 2018, totaling 26 on the year. When healthy, he remained elite with a 2.73 ERA, but his recent injury history is certainly a red flag.
