Draymond Expected to Play Wednesday, West Close to Return

OAKLAND -- If their practice on Monday is any indication, the Warriors are slowly regaining full health.

Forward Draymond Green, who two took two hard falls this weekend, one of which resulted in a contusion to his right knee, was on hand and is expected to play Wednesday night, when the Chicago Bulls come to Oracle Arena.

Center/forward David West, who has been out since Jan. 18 with a non-displaced fracture to his left thumb, participated in practice but his status remains unclear for Wednesday.

"The X-ray was good, but he's still got a little bit of pain," coach Steve Kerr said. "And until the pain goes away, we won't play him."

Center Zaza Pachulia, coping with a strained right rotator cuff, did not practice and is unlikely to play on Wednesday.

Guard Klay Thompson is healthy but did not practice Monday and won't practice Tuesday. He is in Portland to attend funeral services Tuesday for his maternal grandfather.
