Draymond Green Not Voted to All-Defensive First Team

One year after winning the 2016-17 Defensive Player of the Year, Draymond Green wasn't even awarded to the All-Defensive first team. Below are the voting results:

Green earned 86 total points, 26 for the first team and 24 for the second team. Robert Covington of the 76ers and Anthony Davis of the Pelicans were both voted to the first team ahead of Green at forward and forward/center.

The results end Green's three-year streak of making the All-Defensive first team. This is Green's first time making the second team.

Green averaged 7.6 rebounds (down from 7.9), 1.4 steals (down from 2.0) and 1.3 blocks (down from 1.4) per game this season in 70 games played.

Kevin Durant also received 31 total points and Klay Thompson earned 24.
