For the first time in the last five years, the Warriors lost Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Toronto beat Golden State 118-109 and was in control for the vast majority of the night.
On Friday, a reporter asked Draymond Green the following question:
"In the outside world, especially after last night's game, the reaction seems like most people back in the states are rooting for you guys to lose. And then obviously here, you have a whole country who's probably pulling for the Raptors. Do you guys feel that -- that you guys are kind of the enemy of this series and people want to see you get knocked off the top?"
The 2017 Defensive Player of the Year's answer just might be the best thing you will hear all day:

"Yeah. Umm. That's cool. People in the states are rooting against us because we beat all their teams. It's all good. When you're at the top, no one's ever cheering for you to stay there. People want to see you get to the top and they want to see you fall.
"That's kind of the mind of most human beings. So, it's all good. But yeah. Their team is sitting at home with them."

Sensational stuff.
Draymond registered 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in Game 1 on Thursday night at Scotiabank Arena.
But don't be fooled by the triple-double because he did not play particularly well -- and he would be the first to admit that.
The three-time All-Star committed six turnovers and Pascal Siakam scored 32 points on 14-for-17 from the field.
