Draymond Green wants to play in the 2020 Olympics, he's made that clear -- and he's planning ahead of time to make sure his schedule caters to that.
Green recently said he's even planning his wedding around the event -- just in case:

Green was engaged to TV personality Hazel Renee in January. The announcement was buried in a conversation from head coach Steve Kerr during a road trip in Los Angeles in the middle of the season.

Team USA had plenty of weapons to take the FIBA World Cup, but ultimately lost to Serbia. That could have been a catalyst in Green wanting to participate, but he appears to be serious about being a part of it -- that's obvious when you know how venues and catering depend on a schedule.

Green has thrown his name into the hat to participate in the Olympics, now -- it's all about if they want him on the team or not.
