They then missed the postseason 12 straight seasons before the "We Believe" squad in 2007 shocked the basketball world by upsetting the No. 1 seed Mavs.
After another five-year playoff absence, the Dubs entered the 2013 playoffs as the No. 6 seed.
They split the first two games of their opening-round series in Denver and outlasted the Nuggets in a tightly-contested Game 3, 110-108.
"I'll never forget that Game 3 at Oracle, tied up 1-1," Draymond Green recently told Tim Kawakami of The Athletic. "The crowd - loudest I've ever heard it here. It was amazing."

Things weren't looking good for the Dubs as they trailed by 12 points at the half. But they won the third quarter, 33-18, behind 10 points and four assists from Jarrett Jack, nine points and three assists from Steph Curry and eight points from Harrison Barnes.
Interestingly enough, Draymond fouled out in just 15 minutes of action.
He bounced back in a big way in Game 4, registering 13 points, six rebounds, four steals, two assists and a block in 25 minutes. The Warriors won, 115-101.

"We came back and went up 3-1. Think they won one more game and then we closed it out here," Draymond added.
