Durant ‘feels Amazing,' Looks Primed for Saturday Return Vs 76ers

OAKLAND -- After sitting out for three days and missing one game, Kevin Durant was back on the court Friday, working hard during a spirited Warriors practice and not walking away until he's worked up a Florida summertime sweat.

He almost certainly will be back on the court late Saturday afternoon, when the Warriors face the 76ers at Oracle Arena.

"He looked good in practice," coach Steve Kerr said, "and we'll see how he looks when he gets to the arena."

Durant sustained a thigh bruise in the first minutes of the game against Miami on Monday night. He limped it off and finished the game, playing 33 minutes, but was hampered Tuesday to such a degree he missed practice and the game against Minnesota on Wednesday.

Durant also seemed optimistic.

"Feels amazing," he said. "I can't complain at all. Everything is going well."

Durant said adrenaline allowed him to finish the game, but conceded he was sore afterward and on Tuesday morning. That soreness, he said, has subsided.
