Ex-Giant Hunter Pence Shares Hilarious Story of Shirtless Bruce Bochy

As we toast our farewell to Giants skipper Bruce Bochy, who will retire at the end of the season, we're beginning to hear some fun stories about him from across his illustrious career.

For one, he offered first baseman Brandon Belt a beer when he got his big-league call-up. It was a small thing, as Belt said, but it was certainly something that meant a lot to Belt when his career began.

And for former Giants outfielder Hunter Pence, it was all about Bochy's shirtless acts that he remembers:

"It's funny because it's awful," Pence said in an interview with KNBR.

Pence played ball with San Francisco for seven seasons and earned two World Series championships while sporting the orange and black. But one constant in describing Bochy is how caring and giving he is which makes sense since apparently, he'll give you the shirt off your back.

We appreciate the confidence, Boch.
