Gameday: Warriors, Kings Invade San Jose for Preseason Affair

SAN JOSE – The Warriors return to SAP Center on Thursday night for what has become their annual South Bay preseason game, and this time it’s an all-Northern California affair.

The Sacramento Kings are traveling to San Jose to face the defending Western Conference champions.

The Warriors (1-1) dropped their preseason opener last weekend but recovered Tuesday night to drop a 120-75 bomb on the Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors starters operated at such high efficiency they built a 53-point lead before coming out for good midway through the third quarter.

As the Warriors were spanking the Clippers in Oakland, the Kings (0-1) were thumping the Lakers in Anaheim – before the reserves blew a 13-point halftime lead and turned it into a 103-84 loss.
