Giants Ink 7-Year-Deal With KNBR

Fans of the San Francisco Giants must learn to live with consistency.

The team announced that it has agreed on a new seven-year contract with radio station KNBR to continue to broadcast all its games.

"The Giants are delighted to extend our partnership with KNBR Radio through 2018," team President and CEO Larry Baer said. "KNBR has played an integral role in the success of our franchise and is our primary link to our fans during Spring Training, the 162‐game regular season, post‐season and the off‐season. It is only fitting that KNBR, one of the great sports stations in the country, continue its long‐standing and successful association with the Giants as we work to deliver the best baseball experience for our fans and the Northern California community."

The announcement was made official Tuesday on KNBR's morning show.

This season marks the 34th year that KNBR has broadcast the Giants on its air. The new deal will keep San Francisco on 680 AM through the 2018 season.

The games will continue to be called by Hall-of-Fame broadcaster Jon Miler,  Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper.
