Giants Vs. Dodgers Lineup: Buster Posey Returns for Series Opener

It's not late, but it's certainly not early and Bruce Bochy knows that.

As April comes to a close, the Giants sit at 11-17, seven games back of the first place Los Angeles Dodgers. Bochy knows his team needs to start playing better soon if they plan to play meaningful summer baseball, and that starts Monday when the Giants welcome the Dodgers to Oracle Park for an important three-game series.

After getting the day off Sunday in the series finale against the New York Yankees, Buster Posey returns to the lineup and will hit fourth.

Jeff Samardzija will take the hill for the Giants. The right-hander is coming off a win in his last start against the Toronto Blue Jays when he allowed two earned runs in 5 1/3 innings.

The Dodgers will counter with righty Kenta Maeda.

Here's the lineups for Monday's Giants-Dodgers game, which can be seen on the MyTeams App.
