Some of the Bay Area's most hated celebs will be getting a lot of air time soon.
Terrell Owens and Jeff Kent will be two of eight athletes competing on a new version of the television show "The Superstars." They will at least be joined by Bay Area sweetheart and former professional soccer player Brandi Chastain will also be on the show.
The remake of the 1970s classic pits standouts from different sports against one another in a variety of athletic competitions. Each athlete pairs with a celebrity.
The six-episode series premieres June 23 on ABC.
The other athletes are basketball players Robert Horry and Lisa Leslie, skiers Bode Miller and Kristi Leskinen andtennis' Jennifer Capriati.
