With the Raiders making plenty of moves during the offseason, that meant some players would be saying their goodbyes.
That was the case with tight end Jared Cook, who is nearing a deal with the New Orleans Saints.
Cook said his goodbyes via his Instagram:
NBC Sports California's Scott Bair said Cook leaves behind a very successful season with catching 68 passes for 896 yards and six touchdowns. Those are numbers Raiders quarterback Derek Carr would surely be appreciative of.
Cook's performance certainly left an impression on the league -- the Patriots were "aggressively courting" Cook before the Saints deal as ESPN's Mike Reiss reported. That had a lot to do with Rob Gronkowski's "uncertain status."

It appeared Cook was very thankful for the time he spent with the Raiders.
