Joe Lacob and his ownership group officially bought the Warriors in November 2010.
Golden State is one win away from capturing its third title in the last four seasons, yet Lacob is nowhere close to satisfied.
On Thursday, Warriors GM Bob Myers attempted to put things in perspective by saying that eventually this run of Warriors dominance will end.
Hey Mr. Lacob -- your thoughts?
"I don't think so, honestly, I do not," Lacob told Tim Kawakami of The Athletic. "And I tell Bob every day, our job is not to let it end. It may change, just like we changed when we added Kevin and (let go of) some really good players that won the championship in '15.
"So we have to recognize that and be willing to make some changes each year that are required. Some will be of our doing and some will sort of be handed to us.

"So I get that. I understand that. This is my eighth year. It's amazing how fast the years go by. And you remember the early days. I understand that there's change.
"What I'd love for us to be able to do is have a Spurs-like 20-year run of being very consistently good and competing for championships, and that's my job."
The Spurs went 56-26 during the 1997-98 season.
Then, from the 1998-99 campaign through 2014 (that's 16 seasons), the Spurs won five championships and made the playoffs every year.
In 2016-17, they won 67 regular season games and lost to the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.
They also lost in the NBA Finals in 2013 and reached the West Finals in 2012, 2008 and 2001.
It's really simple -- Lacob wants to have a championship-contender every single year.
That isn't simple to accomplish, but it remains the goal.
"It's tough to maintain for some people," Lacob said. "I guess to be honest with you not so tough for me because I love it. Not so tough for Bob, because we love doing it.
"But I think for the players, it is tough, and they've said it, to maintain the level of intensity for nine months or whatever it is, and to do it for four years in a row. Having said that, it is basketball and it is fun, and I wouldn't want to overplay that, either."
