It won't be George W. Bush -- if he even shows up -- and it won't be Steve Perry either.

The honor of throwing out the first pitch at tonight's Game One of the World Series will go to two Giants' legends and four more Hall of Famers.

Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Orlando Cepeda, Monte Irvin, Juan Marichal and Gaylor Perry will all throw out the ceremonial first pitch, or pitches if you prefer.

But baseball will reach deeper than its own treasure trove to add star power to the opening game of the league's championships.

Grammy Award winning hip hop artist John Legend will sing the national anthem and the man in every San Franciscans heart, Tony Bennett, who once may or may not have actually lived in the City, will sing "God Bless America" during the seventh inning stretch.
