Johnny Manziel's debut north of the border went south in a hurry.
Starting for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, Manziel's first pass attempt in the CFL was completed for a 5-yard loss. One pass later, Manziel had his first interception in a blowout 50-11 loss against the team that traded him, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

That was just the beginning of a long night for Manziel.
Manziel totaled four interceptions in the first half alone. No other quarterback has thrown four interceptions in a CFL game this season. In the NFL, only one other quarterback has thrown four interceptions in one half in the past 10 seasons.
Rough debut for Johnny Manziel.
Manziel's 4 interceptions are the most in a CFL game this season.
How often does something like this happen in the NFL?
Nathan Peterman is the only QB to throw 4 Int in the 1st half over the last 10 seasons.

Montreal pulled Manziel in the fourth quarter. He finished the night completing 11 of 20 passes for 104 yards, no touchdowns and four interceptions.
Back in 2014, Manziel's NFL debut didn't go so well either. The former Heisman Trophy winner completed 10 passes out of 18 attempts for 80 yards, no toucdowns and two interceptions. Manziel last played in the NFL on Dec. 27, 2015.
