Kings Add Reinforcements for Exhibition Game Vs. Maccabi Haifa

The Kings are back in action Monday evening when they make their preseason home debut at Golden Center. Sacramento has played light the last few games, but they've added few reinforcements as they prepare to face Israeli team, Maccabi Haifa.

After missing the previous two games with a sprained right thumb, Yogi Ferrell is back in the fold. The 25-year-old guard is listed as probable for the game and is likely to see time off the bench for Sacramento.

Nemanja Bjelica is set to make his Kings debut. The free agent acquisition missed the team's first three games with a sore left knee. Bjelica adds another scorer and an option at both forward positions.

Iman Shumpert has yet to play due to a sore left calf. Shumpert played 14 games last season due to knee and plantar fasciitis issues and is listed as day-to-day.

Kosta Koufos strained his right hamstring a little over a week ago. He'll be evaluated later this week, but the team has yet to put a timetable on his return.

Bogdan Bogdanovic is out after undergoing a knee procedure almost two weeks ago. The original diagnosis was for Bogdanovic to miss 4-6 weeks, which puts his return in the neighborhood of 2-4 weeks from Monday.

Zach Randolph continues to sit out as a healthy scratch. Dave Joerger is giving his young bigs a long look during the exhibition season and the move will likely carry over into the regular season.

Roster move

The Kings waived Jamel Artis on Sunday, reducing their training camp roster to 18 players. Artis joined the team during the summer after spending last season on a two-way contract with the Orlando Magic. The 6-foot-7 wing played sparingly in two of the team's first preseason games, posting 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game.
